Howland- Fred Belko, Sr., age 81, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Windsor House of Champion. Fred was born December 18, 1935 in New Haven, CT to the late Joseph and Veronica Belko. Fred was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a Steel Forge Operator for many years with Warren Tool Corporation. He was also very skilled at Billiards and enjoyed his Pool league immensely. He is survived by his sons Stephen (Connie) Belko and Fred (Donna) Belko, Jr., daughter-in-law Stephanie Belko; grandchildren, Jessica (Dan) Ciufi, Melissa (Dan) Vodhanel, Stephanie (Alex) Gottuso, Kristen Belko, Craig and Zander Belko, six great-grandchildren. Fred also leaves his brothers Joseph Belko and Richard (Harriet) Belko. Fred is preceded in death by his wife Helen Belko, his daughter Kathryn "Kathy" Burke, and son John Belko. Per Fred's request, there will be no calling hours or service.
